More Coastal Art Prints

This week I wanted to continue the coastal theme of the last few weeks, but am switching sides of the North American Continent to the eastern coast. The attached three prints were inspired by the inter water coastal region surrounding Martha’s Vineyard. Martha’s Vineyard is just off the coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The area is interspersed with islands and is popular for boating and fishing. It’s not unusual to see large homes, as this is the summer playground for the wealthy. The setting is naturally beautiful and an artists dream to capture the look and feel of this unique New England paradise.

New England Beach Strolling – Featured Art Print

New England Beach Strolling

 

In keeping with a summer theme this week, I am featuring New England Beach Strolling. I created this art print using an impasto style technique. This technique uses bold brush strokes and bright colors creating a bold oil look.

This particular wall art print depicts people strolling on a beach. The setting is the coastal region of New England along Martha’s Vineyard.  Thoughts?

Lounge in the Yard

The 1st of May has arrived. May has always been one of my favorite months and when I think of May, the attached picture is what I think of. I can just picture myself reading a book sipping an ice tea on a warm spring day in a yard like this….I came across this scene during the month of May a few years back on Martha’s Vineyard just off the coast in Massachusetts. Enjoy!!

The Arbor – Featured Art Print

The Arbor

I wanted to keep with a Spring theme this time of year, so I decided to feature an art print I created a few years back called “The Arbor”. I used an abstract watercolor technique creating this scene. This technique uses abstract shapes and subdued color tones creating a clean modern look. This particular wall art print depicts a sidewalk along the side of a picket fence stretching back to where it ends under an arbor. It depicts a scene from Martha’s Vineyard in the springtime. Martha’s Vineyard is an island off the coast of Massachusetts along the eastern seaboard. It is well-known for traditional New England architecture. Thoughts?
