Simple Geometric Shapes – Simple Colors

I’ve attached four art prints that are simple geometric shapes and two of the four are really simple colors: black and white. The other two introduce blue and red as part of the simple colors equation. I created these simple abstract art prints a number of years ago on a specific project I was working on for a client. What has surprised me over the years is how often these prints have been used on throw pillows. The third party art galleries I sell on have evolved from just selling art prints to using the art on a variety of products. So, imagine my surprise when in the case of these four they are suddenly hot looks for throw pillows!! You just never know!!

That is so wonderful – I love these designs, reminds me of the Marimekko designs in the 70s, I especially like the blue and black design. Congratulations on your success!!

Kind of blew me away, especially when the originals were done for large modern abstract art prints for a friend. Worked in their decor….you just never know!! Thanks for stopping by Diana!!

Oh I can see these would make fantastic pillows! Interior designers and modern decorators probably can’t find something like this anywhere else. My store sells pillows too and I like my nature abstracts as pillows best.

They’re fun, Kirt! There’s something to be said for using shapes to elicit emotion. They are so defined and yet work together in patterns that take your eyes to new things. Love the balance!! Hope you are well!
