Love this, Kirt! The ideas/verses are point to point with the simple complexity of the image – seemingly contradictions of perspective that just take a little time to absorb, and unravel – thank you for such a thoughtful creation! πŸ’•

Thanks….that verse speaks to me and the picture is an abstract creation of mine based on two small statues we had representing family! Have a great week!

A powerful message, and I’m fascinated by your abstract image. I see two figures, one pondering and the other turning away, fearing to be judged. Was that your intention, or am I just anthropomorphizing?

I love your interpretation of the drawings, but to be honest I used two statues we had as the basis of the abstract drawing. The back figure is a father with a young child on his shoulders….the front one is a mother lifting up a young child. I just ruined your illusion, so let’s forget I said anything😎

LOL! Nope, you didn’t ruin it – I have a weird habit of perceiving faces in even the most unlikely items like car grilles, sheets of plywood, etc. That little patch of magenta with the black squiggle on the head of the front figure looked like an eye to me; and my bizarre brain filled the rest in. I guess that’s the fun of abstracts – everybody sees things a bit differently!

Great concept Kirt! A lot of judging going on now. It is rampant on social media (especially Facebook) … people angry and judgmental because other’s don’t think like them. It’s best to use this time to physically distance as well as mentally distance from all the negativity. πŸ™‚

Hi there Kirt. I love stained glass and the stained glass look. Art has voice and your work here speaks out boldly in strong colors and contortions. πŸ’—πŸ’—β˜•οΈβ˜•οΈπŸ’—πŸ’—
