Views of COVID-19 – Across the United States

A great post from Travel Tales of Life by Sue Slaght. Sue has been posting fellow bloggers experiences with the pandemic from around the world. This week is from across the United States and she asked me to contribute from Los Angeles.

Sue Slaght – Over the past weeks we have been inviting readers from across the globe to share their COVID-19 stories. We began with views on the pandemic from Thailand, Mexico, Spain and Australia. Last week we gratefully received contributions from Chile, England, Finland and Portugal.  Although thousands of miles often separate the writers, one consistent theme rings true. COVID-19 is life altering and we as humanity battle a common foe. This week we welcome contributions from across the United States. Our heartfelt thanks to the authors of these pieces. For those that have provided links to their own blogs or social media we encourage you to visit.

I love this feature on Sue’s blogsite. I particularly enjoyed reading your post. I’m so glad your wife is OK and you’ve been able to communicate via social media with your family. May you and your loved ones continue to stay safe and well. xo

I can imagine! We were social distancing Easter with our youngest grandchild, and we told him (7 yrs old) how lucky he was to have a place to play and not have to worry ‘bout being impinged 😊 Enjoy, stay well, and keep that knee moving! 😊

I like your backyard Kirt, and more importantly, I’m glad you and your wife are safe after exposure. It is erie to see so many places quiet, but also soothing to my soul. I hope we all learn to live simpler, gentler lives.

Sue and Dave got a great assemblage of bloggers to air their thoughts. I’m so glad you and your wife are okay! And that you have a beautiful back yard to stay home at.

    Hi Kirt! Wow…
I am so happy your wife tested negative and that you and your family are well. This is such a strange time. Your garden is lovely and I say yes to the internet…and I just had my 2nd zoom connection!
Stay well, Kirt. Keep creating 🙂
