Four Corners Of Apples And Pears – Featured Art Print

This print has a fall feel and look to it, so I use it to say goodbye to Autumn. It seems that as soon as Thanksgiving is over, we are full speed into winter and Christmas. All of the decorations change into a festive winter look and the fall colors are no longer seen.

It was a year ago this last weekend that mother nature called and our daughter gave birth to our first grandchild (granddaughter). Our son-in-law and daughter had hosted their typical large Thanksgiving dinner for family and friends with our daughter not missing a beat being the perfect hostess, even though she was almost upon her due date. The next day, my wife and I went with them to find their Christmas tree, which is always very tall and large. Again my daughter was feeling great and was helping decorate the tree that evening when all of a sudden she stopped, got very quiet and turned to her husband and said; “Ok…it’s happening, we better get going to the hospital”. The next day our granddaughter was born.

Same type of Thanksgiving this year, they hosted their typical large dinner with family and friends plus one (she was in her element). Did the Christmas Tree shopping with them on Friday (she was in awe). Started decorating it that night (she was mesmerized and helping with ornaments). Then they hosted her 1st Birthday celebration with friends and family the next day (she was having a great time with the other kids). Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday!

Hope your Thanksgiving was great!!

Kirt I love to hear of the update and the history of your daughter and grand daughter. Doesn’t the time just fly by. Already a year old! Your daughter sounds like she has the energy of several people. Am I correct in remembering this is your daughter the film maker?

You are correct, Sue…she is the co exec producer for Destination Unknown on the Travel Channel and just got another promotion to put together another show for Travel Channel while still doing this one. Her plate is definitely full…sheโ€™s good though not letting that cut into her daily time with her daughter and dad is the same….he owns the production company along with a partner and both guys have young kids at home and are on the same page. Was a great holiday weekend!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

It’s a delightful post, Kirt. I love your family stories. The print is really fun and vibrant. I can imagine it in on a wall between a dining area and the other part of the house. It would work with retro, modern, or country looking decor. Hugs to you and yours.

I liked the beauty in the fruit and colors. This was a lovely celebration of the end of Autumn.
Happy one year birthday for your darling granddaughter, Kirt. Hope both Thanksgiving and Christmas were wonderful and fullof precious moments. ๐Ÿ’ž
I was waylaid with Randy, from Thanksgiving through to the second week of December. He’s healing from his brain surgery, I’m at work and enjoying grandchildren, too. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you for your very thoughtful responses and I do believe the “bad” went out with the end of last year for my family and me.
So happy your holiday season was filled with joy, love and good health. We cannot ask for more than these gifts from above. . . ๐Ÿ™
