Lounge In The Back Yard – Featured Art Print

The 1st of May has arrived. May has always been one of my favorite months and when I think of May, the attached picture is what I think of. I can just picture myself reading a book sipping an ice tea on a warm spring day in a yard like this….I came across this scene during the month of May a few years back on Martha’s Vineyard just off the coast in Massachusetts. Enjoy!!

This picture represents May very well. The weather is usually so fresh and lovely. Just before the heat of summer and right after the chilly winter months. I love May as well.

Happy May Day to you, Kirt — lots of spring freshness and vitality in this print. That empty lounge chair just calls to the viewer to sit back and kick off your sandals.

Ironically, I didn’t take a single shot all weekend…finalizing some wedding and bridal shower details with our youngest and then helped pick out bushes, plants, etc. for the house her and her fiance just bought….and of course that meant digging and planting…we flew up Friday night and flew back early this AM…on the flight back I realized I hadn’t taken a single shot all weekend….we have a few mopre trips coming in the next few months (wedding is mid July), so will try and get some in…

Pulling up a chair and refreshment. So beautiful I feel happier for having seen it. Just today I can say we are starting to see the green grass. Yay for spring!

My brother Rich and his wife have a long back yard with two Adirondack chairs, usually dogs at their feet. They read books on Kindles and sip herbal tea or coffee since they usually have some time off in summers, Kirt. I love staying there even just a week reminds me of “summer vacations” from school. 🙂

Kirt, your photograph art print really shows true serenity and beauty in the dappled sunshine with the pretty pink bush as a bright spot. You captured May and the sense of beginning hazy, lazy summer days. 🙂
