        Looks fake. But then, I grew up summers paddling through a swamp—an outlet for a local lake…first we could “motor” through, them had to row…then paddle, then finally (several years later) kept running aground and gave it up!

        Fake in the aspect of a “planned” pond….but real in the aspect of it is actually a pond with flowing water….the water lilies were real!!! I hear you….grew up in Iowa where the smaller lakes were kind of dicey!!!

        I suppose you can’t. Miami Dade County is 54% foreign born now and I suppose people who are from third world countries think filth is normal. Seems they never get it that they create their own filth. They are so used to it they can walk by trash and not even see it. I visited Vancouver and Seattle some time ago. I was astonished that there was no gum all over the side walks, no cigarette butts and no bottles, cans, food containers or candy wrappers anywhere. Now that’s normal. .
