Snow in the Neighborhood – Featured Art Print

Snow in the Neighborhood

Snow in the Neighborhood

The Art Print I wanted to feature this week is called “Snow in the Neighborhood”. I took this shot mid February a couple of years ago of the neighborhood scene of some friends of ours that live in the Minneapolis area. It struck me as so typical for this part of the world this time of year. I love the color of the sky and the barren trees as silhouette features with dusk settling into this neighborhood. I also don’t see the coldness of the snow, I see the warmth of the homes as family and friends gather to celebrate community and friendship. I see them sharing dinners and conversations about their lives, their hopes and dreams.

This is the time of year to take a moment and reflect on the blessings you have been given. Take stock on the year past and the hope of the year ahead. Share your love with those around you and give thanks. Reach out to those hurting and in need to give comfort.

Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2: 10-11 (NKJV)

Wishing you Joy and Peace – Merry Christmas!!

The sky looks like a painting beautifully illuminated by the sun passing by. Kirt, may you and your family have a Merry Christmas and the best to come in the New Year, too. Hugs, Robin
