“Hot Air Balloons” The Art Print of the Week

The art print of the week is from my Hot Air Balloon Gallery. This print is a watercolor of two hot air balloons. The balloon in the background is already gaining altitude and the one in the foreground is just getting ready for liftoff. This print is inspired by the sunset hot air balloon rides in San Diego. They take off just before sunset near the coast and then drift slowly inland as they gain altitude. As the sun sets, the balloons slowly return to earth. The view is incredible rising to 4000 ft above sea level….to the west the Pacific Ocean and to the east the mountains with all of San Diego County lying below.
